چکیده:

the demand of electric power is expected to grow sharply over the next twenty years. This will result in the proliferation of DGs in power system. Due to installing DGs we have to modify conventional fault analysis method such as Zbus matrix. In this paper, a modified Zbus matrix method is presented and a new index is introduced. The proposed method may be appropriate for relays recoordination and voltage stability studies when we use synchronous generators as DGs. In this paper we apply the proposed method on a standard IEEE Distribution System and then assess the impact of DG installation on voltage profile, stability and reliability indices. The results show that all of these indices have been improved in case of DG installation
