چکیده:

Magnetorheological MR damper as a promising semi active control mechanism has reseived significant attention in recent years. In most of the previous researches on the application of semi-active systems the main focus has been dedicated to develop algorithms and assessment of the effeciency of control mechanisms on linear structures and the researches dealing with nonlinear structures have been very limited. in this paper the application of MR damper for mitigating the response of seismically excited nonlinear hysteretic structure has been sturdied.
