چکیده:

Measuring soil shear strength has a high importance in many fields such as geological science, civil engineering and agricultural engineering. But measuring this parameter exactly is an excruciating task and in some regions isn’t possible. So creating a model to predict this parameter based on some other parameters which are obtained easily is a trivial task. In this paper we will present six different classification models to predict soil shear strength based on eight more important parameters and compare their accuracy. We will extract the more important parameters among twenty parameters using feature selection algorithm before creating prediction models.
