چکیده:

Unstable zones frequently exist in most of the dam sites. These zones do not usually receive adequate attention unless they threaten the overall functionality of dams orappurtenant structures. The unstable zone existing in Seymareh Dam area overlooked power intake, thus needed to be treated. Considering the unstable zone conditions andhuge overload burden, there was fear of the loose area to fall off and cause another slide, so the treatment had to be carried out with proper care. To obtain more dataand validate available data, exploratory studies also began concurrently with the startof treatment. The behavior of unstable zone was also monitored and recorded. Data obtained from monitoring revealed that the treatment was efficient and successful
