چکیده:

This paper present a theoretical investigation of Transverse vibrations of thin flat isotropic elastic super-elliptical plates under uniformly distributed in-plane loads and resting on a twoparameter Winkler-Pasternak foundation. Various plate shapes ranging from an ellipse to a rectangle with rounded corners are considered. The Galerkin procedure is utilized, where thedisplacement amplitude is approximated by polynomial expressions in the Cartesian coordinates.The effects of aspect ratio, super-elliptical powers and elastic foundation in the presence of in-plane loads are examined in detail. The frequency parameters obtained are presented also the validity of results is established and shown good agreements with available results in the literature.
