چکیده:

Tension-leg platform (TLP) is suitable structure for oil and gas exploration in deep waters. Generally these structures havesix degree of freedom that the maximum motion amplitude belongs to surge motion. In this paper, dynamic analysis of TLPmodel under regular wave is presented. Finding Nonlinear equation of surge motion in which the nonlinear term is affectedby depth, the nonlinear surge motion equation should be solved with large perturb parameter in time domain. In this paper, anew linearized perturbation technique is used, that in contrast to the traditional methods, this technique does not require asmall parameter for finding surge motion of TLP. In this paper, linearized perturbation technique response is compared withMATLAB.
