چکیده:

The knowledge of sorption equilibria of solvent-polymer system is necessary for industrials separation unit. Cubic Equation of State (EoS) is a powerful tool to predict sorption equilibrium ofthese systems. In this work, Peng-Robinson EoS and Wong-Sandler mixing rule incorporated withUNIQUAC-HB has been used to model binary systems containing Hexane and several polymers. The proposed method by Staudt et al [1] has been employed to calculate EoS parameters for polymers. Activity of the system has been predicted and compared with experimental data. Results show good performance of this model
