چکیده:

In this study, the second law of thermodynamics is shown to reduce irreversibilities Ia or Ic rate of entropy generation due to two effects of friction and heat transfer in heat exchanger ring partially or completely filled with a porous medium. The porous matrix is attached to the cylinder intemal and extemal Ic cylinder is thermally insulated. Kc modiflé The model is used to simulate turbulent flow in porous media. The effects of thickness of porous layer Ia and permeability are presented.
