چکیده:

In this paper some theoretical and practical considerations relating to design a high-voltage IGBT valve are presented. Different technical aspects of a designed IGBT valve, such as cooling system, protection system, and optic communication, are considered. Furthermore, a switch mode current source power supply with high isolation capability are proposed and described in details. To check the performance of proposed power supply system an experimental setup is constructed. Experimental results show the effectiveness and feasibility of constructed valve’s power supply system.
