چکیده:

The purpose of this study was investigated burnout in the faculty members at public universities in western Iran. Statistical population had faculty members in western Iran including provinces of Kurdistan, Kermanshah andHamedan and 526 of them participated in this study. The research method was based on descriptive. The samples completed personal characteristics questionnaire and Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). Data analysis including was descriptive statistics, factor analysis, and (ANOVA, T) tests. The value of (p<0/05) was considered as significant. The results of descriptive statistics showed that: The rate of burnout in the samples was lower than mean. The section of hypothesis tests results showed that: There was a significant difference between burnout and education. The member having a PhD degree sufferedmore burnout in the comparison with other members.
