The aim of current research was to investigate the role of training climate in the preparation of systems thinking in organizations. Training climate, which can be effective in providing systems thinking in an organization and institutionalizing that in various organizational systems, is the individual’s perception of the support of manager, job and organization for formal and informal training and advancement activities. The 250 participants of this study were selected randomly from among 450 population of an industrial company in Broujen. 209 questionnaires were returned (return rate =84%) that 203 of which were useful. The materials that were used in current study consist of: 1) Tracy and Tews (2005) training climate questionnaire, which measures the individuals’ perception of training climate and has three measurements: managerial support, job support and organizational support. 2) Neefe’s (2001) systems thinking scale, which is one of the subscales of the Neefe’s (2001) organizational learning assessment questionnaire, measures the ability of organization to providing systems thinking. The data were analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise regression analysis. The results revealed that all of three components of training climate are related to the systems thinking (P<0/05). Stepwise regression analysis showed that managerial support and job support can predict the providing of systems thinking and explain 0/182 of systems thinking variance. Considering these results, it seems that providing supportive training climate especially managerial support and job support for training which is perceived by employers has a key role in preparation of systems thinking in the organization. So it is suggest that in order to increase the advancement of systems thinking in an organization the managers should try to present the supportive signs of learning and obtaining knowledge and skills that are related to job functions. Additionally in designing different jobs of an organization the flexibility for constant learning should be considered and job requirements should play the excitant role for individuals to learn more through which they achieve more perfect view about their job that cause to increasing of organizational proficiency. Also this matter cause that people consider different aspects of their job and the relationship among them through the perception of their gestalt of work, that is the basis of systems thinking.
