چکیده:

This paper describes a new version of the Bees Algorithm, an optimization tool inspired by the foraging behavior of honey bees. A standard mechanical design problem, the design of a coiled spring, was used to benchmark the improved Bees Algorithm against previously applied global optimization techniques. The paper presents the results obtained showing the robust capability of the new algorithm
