چکیده:

Perpendicular magnetic recording system is one of the most promising candidates to realize the extremely high-density recording (HDR) due to its superior thermal stability and high track density [1]. One such technology to prepare sample with high perpendicular magnetic anisotropy is based on nanowires. Different techniques have been employed to fabricate nanowires . Among them, the template method has proved to be a simple and versatile approach. Electrodepositing the magnetic metal wires with nanoscale into the porous anodic aluminum oxide (AAO)templates have been utilized previously by many groups to prepare the one-dimensional nanostructure[2]. Recently, ferromagnetic-nonmagnetic alloy systems have attracted much interest[3]. Examples of such nanostructures are magnetic Co/Cu multilayers exhibiting giant magnetoresistance (GMR)[4] . A coercivity of 278, 244 and 238 Oe is reported for Co0.77Cu0.23 nanowires with 20, 30 and 40 nm, diameter, respectively [5]. In the present work, we fabricated CoCu nanowires by pulse electrodeposition of ions into PAO templates, using different composition. The magnetic properties and microstructures of composition have been investigated.
