چکیده:

PtSn-CeO2 nanoparticles have been prepared by a impregnation method. XRD shows the formation of PtSn alloy with average sizes of 4.5 nm. The PtSn-CeO2 nanoparticles show enhanced electrocatalytic activity for the electrooxidation of methanol compared with that at Pt nanoclusters. The onset potential for the oxidation of methanol for PtSn-CeO2 nanparticles, which is more negative than that of Pt nanoclusters. Peak current density of PtSn-CeO2 nanoparticles is higher than that of Pt nanoclusters.
