چکیده:

In the last few years, there has been considerable interest in one-dimensional nanostructures such as nanotubes,nanowires, and nanorods, because of their potential for fundamental studies of the effect of dimensionality and size on a material, physical properties, and for their application in nanodevices [1-3]. We synthesized 2-(2- thienyl) pyrrole (TP) as a monomer, which contains units of conducting polymers, pyrrole and thiophene. Forthe first time we are reporting nanotubes of poly [2-(2-thienyl) pyrrole] (poly-TP) with a very high conductivity. The morphology of the poly-TP nanotubes has been analyzed by field-emission scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy.
