چکیده:

Nanocrystalline γ-Al2O3 powders have been synthesized by a novel combustion method (SCS) using glycine as the fuel. The effectiveness and influence of pH and oxidizer/fuel ratio on the specific morphology and crystallite size of alumina particles was investigated respectively. With decreasing the pH values in the precursor solutions, the obtained materials could be modified from segregated nanoparticles (pH=10) to a flaky morphology (pH=2). Also, Results demonstrated that the alumina nanoparticles obtained from φ=۱٫۶ had crystallite sizes around 45 nm which is less than other values of φ, due to evolution of larg amounts of gases which inhibits grain growth
