Aluminum-based metal matrix composites are ideal materials for structural applications in the aircraft and automotive industries due to their light weight and high strength-to-weight ratio [1]. Most of the works [2-8] were carried out to-date on Al-SiC nanocomposites are related to very small quantities (up to 10%).
