چکیده:

Nanosized Copper (Cu) particles were controllably synthesized during pulsed laser ablation of Cu target in surfactant-free aqueous solution (pure acetone and deionized water). Thereby, the particles formation rate depends on the used ambient and laser beam parameters. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) were conducted in order to determine the size, shape and structure of the particles. XRD characterization confirms the formation of Cu nanoparticles (NPs). The synthesized Cu NPs are self assembled with average size lying in the range 5-12nm with narrow size distribution and crystalline in nature
