چکیده:

Polyaniline/Polyvinyl Alcohol (PANi/PVA) composite was examined for Arsenite removal from aqueous solution with and without the presence of KMnO4 as the oxidant. The results indicate thatarsenite oxidation improves arsenite removal about 65% at pH=7 compared to normal adsorptionby PANi/PVA composite. In addition, this process decreased the sensitivity of adsorption to pH value and so necessity of pH adjustment for suitable arsenic removal was not experienced
