چکیده:

In the present work, we report on the chemical surface modification of carboxylated multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) by means of oligomeric unsaturated aliphatic hydroxyl terminated polyester.The population of remodified sites on the surface of MWCNTs were investigated by Fourier Transform infra-red spectrometry (FTIR).The surface modified CNTs were embedded in epoxy resin by ultra-sonication and the cured nanotube containing composites were characterized by transmission electron microscopy(TEM). Rheological properties of remodified CNT/epoxy composites confirmed that the remodified CNTs were well dispersed in the epoxy resin and had strong interaction with the polymer matrix
