چکیده:

this study addresses scour as an important challenging mechanism in the interaction between water sediment and structures scour causes by hydrodynamic conditions and affects the interations between fluid objects and sediment when a structure such as bridge pier offshore foundation etc. is exposed to currents and waves in this study a two dimensional numerical model has been developed to study this phenomenon in the two dimensional model shallow water equations with finite volume method on unstructured mesh are used the two dimensional model uses the godunov scheme and approximate riemann solvers . hydrodynamics and sediment transport equations are coupled and solved simultaneously .
