چکیده:

In this work, first polyethersulfone (PES) membrane was fabricated via phase inversion technique and then a thin layer from chitosan was prepared on the PES membrane by immersion the PES membrane into the chitosan solution. The thin layer was modified with acrylamide and microwave irradiation. The effect of different concentrations of epichlorohydrine on the membrane properties was investigated. The results showed that the rejection capability of modified membranes increased by addition of epichlorohydrine. Attenuated total reflection-infrared (ATR-IR) apparatus, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), atomic force microscopy (AFM) and nanofiltration set-up were used to characterization and investigation of prepared membranes
