چکیده:

Liquid + Liquid Equilibrium (LLE) data for the ternary system of (water + acetic acid + cyclohexanone) under ultrasound was measured at T = 298.2 K and atmospheric pressure. The binodal curve, tie lines, distribution coefficient and separation factor curves have been determined. The reliability of the experimental tie-lines was confirmed by using Hand correlation. It is concluded that cyclohexanone under ultrasound may serve as adequate solvent to extract of acetic acid from its dilute aqueous solutions. The experimental data were correlated by means of the UNIQUAC equation and the coefficients model were calculated and used.The average rootmean- square deviation (RMSD) value of water + acetic acid + cyclohexanone system was 0.67.
