چکیده:

The aim of this work was preparation and characterization of fluoridated hydroxyapatite (FHA) nanopowder with different degree of fluoridation (Ca10(PO4)6OH2-xFx: where x values were selected equal to 0.0, 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0) by sol-gel rout using phosphor pentoxide, calcium nitrate tetra-hydrate and hexafluoride phosphoric acid. Results illustrated that pure FHA particles with 20-30 nm in size were synthesized after calcinations of as dried gel at 6000C for 1hr.Key words: Fluoridated hydroxyapatite, Nanostructure bioceramic, Sol-gel.1. IntroductionBiological hydroxyapatite, as the main inorganic phase of human hard tissue, doped withdifferent quantities of cations and anions. Among them, F-1 ion plays leading roles [1]. Reportedly,F-1 promotes the mineralization and crystallization of calcium phosphate in the bone forming process [2]. Furthermore, in comparison with pure HA, In vitro results have proved that FHA could provide better protein adsorption, Comparable or better cell attachment, improved alkaline phosphates activity and the significant impacts of fluorine ion on proliferation, morphology and differentiation of osteoblast-like cells in cell culture[3].
