چکیده:

formed as a by product during the manufacturing process of certain cosmetic ingredients 1,4-dioxane is a contaminant that may be present in extremely small amounts thus its monitoring in these materials is essential in the method described below a simple sensitive yet relatively inexpensive extraction and gas chromatographic method is developed which can accurately quantify the 1,4-dioxane present in low ppm levels. this method is for quantification of 1,4 dioxane at quantities higher than 5mg/kg in polyglycols alcohol ethoxylated alkylphenols and polyglycol fatty acids esters.
