چکیده:

In this paper, we try to reduce the radar cross section (RCS) of a flat conductor plate by shaping it. Using this method, the disadvantages of using absorber will disappear. For this purpose, we define a function for describing this roughness and apply this function to the plate. The height profile will be considered as a two variables function z=f(x,y) which is describes the height of the roughness. We consider this function as a series of cosine terms . The structure analysis and the RCS calculation are done using integral equations. These equations are solved with the use of numerical methods in MATLAB. To finding a proper function, we utilize Genetic Algorithm optimization method for finding the coefficient of each term of series. Finally, a design is presented and the effectiveness of this method is shown.
