The Importance of vulnerability assessment of elevated water tanks as members of vital lifelines is necessary. These structures should be able to service during and after the earthquake. Fragility curves are suitable tools for evaluating reasonable safety of structures in which probabilistic models based on source of performance uncertainties of structure are used. In fact, the curves present the exceed probability of a required engineering parameter from a certain value to a parameter of earthquake. In this paper, the fragility curves have been presented using the seismic responses of elevated water tanks analysis. An analytical method for producing of fragility curves based on numerical modeling and nonlinear finite element analysis is presented. Also in production of these curves, three-dimensional modeling and selection of an appropriate set of available accelerograms have been used.
