چکیده:

Rheological data are essential for designing and monitoring of commercial polymerization processes, and crucial for the control of polymerization at high conversions in such processes due to excessive rate therein. Previous studies on the rheology of polymer solutions revealed that above swelling volume fraction ϕs, molecular model represented for dilute solutions could not predict the systems properly. Thus in this paper we try to illustrate a useful model for viscoelastic behavior of concentrated polymer solutions. Commercial grade polystyrene (PS) (Solarene G144) and ethyl benzene (EB) was used to make a solution samples with three different weight percentages i.e. 50, 70 and 90wt%. Accordingly, complex viscosity, storage and loss modulus as a function of frequency were measured in short amplitude oscillatory tests. Effect of temperature as effective parameter was discussed later
