The main objective of this paper is to reduce or eliminate the resonant vibration of the piping system of reciprocating gas compressor of GRP unit in Abadan Refinery. For this aim, we use CAESAR II software to model the inlet and exit steam pipelines with exit high-pressure gas pipe. By this means, we could find new proper arrangement of line supports so that its dynamic response be far from the pulsation frequency of the compressor. Also by applying two proper expansions joint in the inlet of steam turbine and one in gas line, we succeed to reduce the pulsation to an acceptable value.
