چکیده:

At this work, we propose a novel nano adsorbent for removal of high amount of lead ions from wastewater.The size of the produced maghemite nanoparticles was determined by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Synthesized maghemaite nanoparticles showed high adsorption capacity to removal of pb2+ from wastewater. The optimum pH for pb2+ removal was 6. The adsorption capacity was evaluated using both Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption isotherm models.
