One of the great items to design of the earth dam is dynamic analysis and behavior of earth dam during earth quake to evaluate effect of displacement is important specially. This paper evaluated numerical analysis of the dynamic settlement during earthquake in different conditions of the foundation material. Design of models were studied with a nearly convergence earth quake by time- acceleration of the Nagan earthquake.ANSYS13 software is performed with regard comprehensive and betterestimation of the displacement and settlement. It is noted that record included 5.02 second with peak ground acceleration equal to PGA=0.65. Record was converted by SISMOSOFT3 software to displacement-time to input data of model. Review study on the dynamic settlement in the literature indicated that the maximum displacement during earthquake is conducted to the crest and interaction between dam and foundation is cased to it. This paper considered end of construction with supplying water on reservoir and saturation of clay core so effect of material property in the foundation is evaluated by compare of result in two models. Models were considered in plan strain state because strain of lateral length was near to zero. Result indicated that dynamic displacements are depended to value of elasticity modulus and increase of it in the foundation cased to reduction of flexibility and increase of rigid behaviorso lead to increase horizontal and vertical dynamic displacement during the earthquake. It is obvious that improvement of dynamic settlement with reinforcement earth dam is great in the future.
