Pricing electricity in deregulated power pool has become a major issue in the power industry. Participants of deregulated energy marketplaces may be able to compete better by choosing a suitable policy in pricing the electricity. Various conventional methods for selecting a suitable policy, such as in Game theory, require complete information about other participants and the environment, whereas in real marketplace only the stop price is available for participants. Our results in a Pool Co model shows that, with reinforcement learning, a participant can learn the best policy and can adapt itself to unknown parameters in environment. This method doesn’t require any information about other participants; and furthermore, if all participants use this method, they will stay in Nash equilibrium
