چکیده:

The shape of powder plays an important role in determining the property of a final component (i.e. polymer and ceramic matrix). The powder in different form like spherical or rod has significant properties. It can be prepared through different methods such as: sol-gel, wet chemical methods, and etc. The purpose of this work is producing spherical and rod shape of Al2O3 nanopowder through polymer template. In this technique it is possible to control size and shape of the particles. In this research monomers acrylamide, N,N’-methylene-bis-acrylamide (cross linker), persulphates (initiator) and N,N,N’,N’-tetra methyl ethyl diamine (accelerator) are used to obtain polymer template at 4 ºC then it put in ceramic tube into the furnace under with and without high speed of inert gas flow. Polymer template inhibits aggregation of Al2O3, improves homogeneity, decreases agglomeration and produces narrow particle size distribution of nanopowder. The Al2O3 nanopowder has been resulted by heat treatment up to 1100 ºC. Particle morphology and phase transformation during heat treatment were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffractometry (XRD), respectively. The obtained nanopowders synthesized by two various conditions have spherical and rod shapes with particle size about 50 nm and 80 nm, respectively
