چکیده:

This study describes the preparation of polythiophene/Sb2O3 nanocomposites in aqueous media by chemical oxidative polymerization of thiophene in the presence of iron chloride (FeCl3) as oxidant and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) as a co-oxidant. The chemical structure and morphology were studied by fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Results indicate that properties of products are dependent on nanocomposite structure. By comparison FTIR spectra between pure PTh and PTh/Sb2O3 nanocomposite, all bands in nanocomposite are slightly shifted, which indicates that there is some interaction between PTh and antimon oxide
