چکیده:

Nowadays a new solid nanometer materials become more important due to its special physical and chemical properties [1]. One of nano particle’s properties is that most of the atoms are on the surface. The surface atoms are unsaturated and therefore can bind other atoms that possess highly chemical activity. So far, the nanometer material can adsorb many metal ions with high capacity. Investigations of the surface chemistry of highly dispersed oxides, e.g. TiO2, Al2O3, ZrO2, CeO2 and ZnO , indicate that these materials have a very high adsorptive capacity[ 2] and give promising results when used for trace metal analyses of different types of water [3] and solutions of high-purity alkali salts [4]. In this work, the adsorption behavior of La3+, Ce3+, Nd3+, Sm3+ and Dy3+ions on nanometer TiO2 was studied. The effects of pH, equilibrium time, sample volume, elution solution and interfering ions on the recovery of the analytes have been investigated
