چکیده:

Determining porosity in reservoir rocks under different volumetric systems in 3D models can be compared to exprimental results.In a labratory setup samples can be simulated by physical modeling. But by theoritical modeling it is difficult to evaluate real sample data.For overcoming these problems, we try to illustrate 3D simulating models. 3D computer programs called 3D-max can be used to compute for the pore spaces between grains in different volumetric systems. This program can be used to calculate the value of bulk volume and grain volume, and simulate porosity with very high accuracy. We calculated porosity using these volumetric systems and compared with those for 3D mathematical models.
