چکیده:

In present study, styrene-b-(ethylene-co-butylenes)-b-styrene triblock copolymer (SEBS) and polypropylene (PP) were prepared through melt mixing method by twin screw. This mixing method was followed by adding different content of nano CaCO3. Chemical structure, polymer morphology and thermal behavior of PP/SEBS/nano CaCO3 were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and thermogravimetric analysis (TG/DTA) methods. In addition, we prepared the experimental specimens to study the final mechanical properties. The results obtained showed the acceptable nano CaCO3 dispersion quality; in addition to enhancement of final mechanical properties after adding nano CaCO3 to the polymer blend system
