Mesoporous silica MCM-41 was synthesized by hydrothermal method procedure and synthesized nano catalyst MCM-41/PAA by reflux (4 h) and ultrasonic (2h) method procedure. Neat acrylic acid reacts with silica gel to give silica acrylic acid in which acrylic acid is immobilized on the surface of silica gel via covalent bonds.Aniline derivatives undergo smooth condensation with different aldehydes3 in the presence of poly acrylic acid impregnated on MCM- 41 under mild reaction conditions to afford the corresponding poly substituted quinolones in excellent yields. The composites were characterized using thermo gravimetry (TG), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), hydrogen adsorption and desorption ,the morphology was characterized by scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) , the structure of nanocatalyst materialswas studided with (X-Ray) diffraction (XRD). The catalyst can be recovered by simple filtration and can recycled in subsequent reactions. The method is simple , cost – effective and environmentally benign.
