چکیده:

Fuzzy logic (FL) and artificial neural network (ANN) models were derived and validated for chemical cleaning of microfiltration membranes fouled by milk under a wide range ofoperation condition. The developed models are useful tools to predict flux recovery i.e. cleaning efficiency, analyze the effectsof different parameters on cleaning and optimization of cleaning process. This research demonstrates that fuzzy logic and artificial neural network model can quantitatively capturecumulative effects of a range of operating conditions on flux recovery and resistance removal during cleaning process
