چکیده:

This paper presents an optimization analysis to determine monthly operating rules for Doroudzan Reservoir system located in south of Iran. The efficiency of the Doroudzan Reservoir was investigated in seven different strategies by maximizing the water releases for various downstreamdemands. Each strategy includes a minimum requirement release in optimization process and will be resulted in a specific rule curve. In addition, the optimization model was re-run for two strategies using generated reservoir inflows data by Monte Carlo simulation to examine theexactness of using synthetic data
