چکیده:

Heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) is a critically important subsystem of a combined cycleor cogeneration power plant. Heat recoverysteam generator (HRSG) is a common system to recover waste heat from various industries. The HRSG is composed of three major sections,including an economizer, an evaporator and a superheater. In HRSG are delivered thermal and pressure irreversibility that are due to heat transferand flows of water in tubes and flue gas outside of tubes. In this work, a specified volume value is considered, and then by minimizing total entropygeneration, best dimensions of HRSG i.e. total length, width and height of the HRSG unit are derived by the algorithm genetic method
