Compressor fouling and erosion is believed to be an important factor when monitoring the efficiency of an engine. There are separate studies related to the local fouling and erosion phenomena, but not on combined fouling-erosion in compressors. In this study, numerical analysis of dusty air flow over compressor stator blades is performed. The deposition and erosion rates on the blade surface are calculated with a mixed Eulerian-Lagrangian approach, and the effect of flow field on these phenomena is investigated. The OpenFOAM open source package is used for the flow field calculation with a Lagrangian solver for the dust part. Also a model is added to this solver to account for interaction of particles and the blade surface. And we conclude that the fouling rate on leading edge is much larger than other places in chord. Also larger particles make larger fouling and erosion. And at last, the amount of erosion is not comparable with fouling for this combination of particle-surface materials
