چکیده:

Electromagnetic forming (EMF) is one of the highvelocity forming methods, which uses electromagnetic force to push material into the die cavity. In this paper, electromagnetic equations for electromagnetic inward tube forming based on Maxwell equations are derived. Therefore, these electromagnetic governing equations are solved by finite difference method in order to gain electromagnetic pressure and will be utilized asmechanical pressure in structural analysis. Commercial FEM software is used to obtain final deformed shape with previous results. These results are compared with experimental data to validate this method. Electrical current, displacement and thickness in simulations are in good agreement with experimental results, which confirm the analytical method
