چکیده:

This work is concerned with the prediction of particles slip velocity in a dilute turbulent gas-solid flow nearby flat solid boundary using a fully-Eulerian two-fluid model. The closures required for equations describing the particulate phase are derived from the kinetic theory of granular flow. For inelastic inter-particle collisions and collisions with the solid wall, restitution coefficients have been considered (respectively e and ew). Gas phase turbulence is modeled by one-equation model and solid phase by MLH theory. Numerical simulations results have been compared with experimental results. Results show that slip-velocity is larger in leading edge and increase with particle loading rate.
