Study of heat transfer from rotating disk in an air stream has an important role in operation of several devices, such as wheels or disk brake of vehicles in large scale and computer hard disk in small scale. In this present study, numerical simulation of heat transfer over a rotating disk with finite thickness was performed for different incidence angle of air flow. The influence of air velocity and incidence angle (air stream or disk angle of attack) on heat transfer were investigated and observed. Those parameters were affected on heat transfer over rotating disk significantly. Above the specific range of range of Reynolds number, the flow becomes turbulent. The k– standard turbulence model was applied to analyze the effect of incidence angle on heat transfer over rotating disk in specific range of Reynolds number. The result show that The heat transfer will be increased by increasing of incidence angle, however, the effect of incidence angle on increasing heat transfer will be decreased in specific range of it.
