One of the main issues that has been discussing in recent years consistently among engineers, especially those experts who are in activities related to constructions, has been the topic of excavations and theoretical and practical problems of them. Appropriate excavation wall stabilizing methods have been studaccording to soil type, dimensions and depth of excavation, the underground water level, its location, regional seismicity, loading condition around the wall, insurance cover interms of social and more important than all of them is technical knowledge and sense of responsibility of designer and supervisor to public health and the public rights. Soil nailing is one of modern methods and technologies in excavation stabilization in recent years, that experts have been involving. The aim of this paper is analyses of excavation that reinforced with soil nailing technique by finite element method. In this regard, determining factors of system performance and soil nailing are investigated. In this way considering effect of soil nailing system stiffness, soil-structure interactions and elements behavioral model selection have been investigated. For this purpose appropriate software and models for studies and modelings have been used. According to studies conducted for parametric analysis, shown to be effective in each of the parameters and what extent of nails importance to stability of soil nailed systems and how effective they are, respectively.
