چکیده:

In this paper, a novel frequency reconfigurable monopole antenna with five switchable states including an ultrawideband (UWB) state, three single band states and adualband state is presented. The frequency reconfigurable capability of the antenna is achieved by using a switchable slotted structure on the ground plane. The antenna whichsupports most applicable frequency bands above 2 GHz can be used in multi-radio wireless systems. Reflection coefficient andradiation pattern measurements were performed for the fabricated antenna. Good agreement between simulated and measured results was obtained
