چکیده:

Eulerian-Eulerian multiphase CFD simulations were employed to examine the performance of a laboratory scale Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) tank. Two drag models were tested in three dimensional simulations. The simulation results were assessed through comparisons of the predicted spatial distributions of water velocity. Two well known drag models, the Ishii-Zuber and Grace, were cross examined in gas-liquid two-phase simulations. Agreements of CFD simulation with results in literature are reasonable.
