چکیده:

Multi-walled carbon nanotube -supported Pt-doped CeO2 nanoparticles were synthesized in an electrodeposition bath containing constant concentrations of H2PtCl6 and different concentrations of CeO2. The electrocatalytic activities of catalysts were studied in 0.5 M H2SO4 for oxygen reduction reaction for proton exchange membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) by cyclic voltammetry, rotating disk electrode voltammetry, chronopotentiometry and chronoamperometry. The CeO2 containing electrocatalysts show improved electrochemical performances. The optimum results are in states that CeO2 concentration in electrodeposition bath is 10 mM. XRD analyze give additional information on the morphological structure of electrocatalysts.
