چکیده:

Stand-alone photovoltaic (PV) systems comprise one of the promising electrification solutions to cover the demand of remote consumers, especially when it is coupled with a storage solution that would increase the reliability of system. This article presents a multi-objective optimization method for calculating the optimum configurations of photovoltaic–battery systems with high reliability and minimum cost for different tilt angle of panels. The performance of a photovoltaic (PV) panel is affected by its tilt angle with the horizontal plane. This study searches the best tilt angle for PV panels and also searches the effect of monthly or seasonal change of tilt angle. The optimization process is carried out by an evolutionary algorithm that is Pareto Envelope-based Selection Algorithm (PESA).
